LinkedIn’s New ‘Products’ Tab Is Here

LinkedIn has officially announced a new feature to help businesses. The platform has released a new ‘Product’ tab that will better highlight a company’s specific products. According to LinkedIn, “With Product Pages you can spotlight product endorsements and testimonials by your users, gather ratings and reviews from current users, and generate leads with a custom call-to-action button, such as a demo request or contact sales form. In the new “Products” Tab, you can add new products you want to feature and include rich media like videos or product screenshots, descriptions and more.”

The new feature can be found on your LinkedIn company page, and will showcase a list of all the products offered by your company. Depending on the products offered, the tab will either show an alphabetical list of products or just an individual, main product page. To utilize this new feature, users don’t need to upload a product catalog. LinkedIn will curate a list for you, based on the information it has gathered. 

Once your list has been created, you can start to add other helpful information like product logos, descriptions and other visuals. According to LinkedIn you can also add a target audience for your product, by choosing a job function. You can also add a Call To Action (CTA) to be even more descriptive. The current six available CTAs include: 

It’s also important to note that there is a services option in the works too. These new features will offer LinkedIn more promotional opportunities which in turn will help businesses utilizing the platform.
