On this week’s episode of Digital Dialogue, Katelyn and Scott highlighted Mule Force. For those who are not familiar, Mule Force is a sister company of Yelling Mule. Founded in February 2019, Mule Force is a cybersecurity company based in Boston, MA that specializes in securing business networks, websites and devices.

The overarching goal of Mule Force is to help improve any organization’s cybersecurity. From experience it’s clear there is always room for improvement. That’s why Mule Force offers a number of services including but not limited to  penetration testing, vulnerability assessments , policy creation, website security and maintenance.

All of these services are geared towards protecting organizations from data breaches. According to the FBI’s 2020 Internet Crime Report, the Internet Crime Complaint Center received 791,790 cybercrime complaints and over $4.1 billion reported in losses in 2020. This shows a 69% increase compared to the year before and experts fear it will only increase over time, with law firms becoming a major target.

Valuable information like personal client information, financial information, healthcare information, trademarks & patents, contract data, and trade secrets are all stored in law firms. Hackers are aware of this and are constantly looking for openings to penetrate their systems. To help avoid this potential disaster, Mule Force offers employees training in the following: Password Management, Email Phishing Security and Social Engineering Awareness.

Based on this information, if you believe your law firm or business would benefit from this type of employee training we encourage you to check out MuleForce.com.
