Web Design

Plugins are software add-ons that let computer programs, mobile apps, and web browsers be customized. A plugin increases the program’s functionality. When utilizing WordPress to create excellent websites, plugins are crucial. Without understanding coding, they help consumers easily add functionality to their websites. In addition to the thousands of premium WordPress plugins created by independent developers, over 50,000 free plugins are listed in the WordPress.org plugin directory.

A WordPress plugin can be quickly found and installed from the “Plugins » Add New” page in the admin sidebar. You can browse or search in the WordPress plugin repository from there to find the one you seek. Click “Install Now” when you’ve located the plugin you wish to install, then wait while it installs. After completing the installation, you must click “Activate” before using your plugin. As the site administrator, you can also modify the settings for a plugin, deactivate them, or delete the plugin entirely from your WordPress website.

Plugins recommendations

The three plugins we use the most in the websites we develop are:

  • Yoast SEO ensures that your website complies with the highest technical SEO requirements. Additionally, it provides you with the tools to enhance the readability and SEO of your content. The plugin will show up on all the pages and posts you generate once installed on your WordPress site. Yoast SEO evaluates the page’s content and offers guidance on how to make it better. The plugin provides you with a score, details the issues, and gives suggestions on how to make your content more SEO-friendly.
  • Advanced Custom Fields lets you control the data in your custom fields and edit screens in WordPress. It provides a range of strong features to retrieve and display the data to site visitors while giving users a stylish user interface to manage the information in their custom fields. This means that, with just a few clicks and without writing any code, you can add customized data to not only Posts and Pages but also Categories, Custom Posts, Users, etc.
  • Gravity Forms helps you quickly build complex, powerful forms, surveys, quizzes, and more. You can customize the pre-built templates or, if you’d rather, create unique forms from scratch. There is no coding necessary. It is well-known for features like routing, which sends form submissions to email addresses given in the form submission’s contents, and conditional formatting, which automatically shows or hides specific questions based on users’ responses to prior questions.
