Getting a bit off track from time to time can be common for all of us, however, coming back into the office after a global pandemic is something that not a lot of us are prepared for.

Our bodies and minds love those daily habits, getting coffee, taking the train, or riding your bike to work, and all of those were affected during the pandemic. So first things first make sure that you have an established, healthy routine (wear a mask) and stick to it as much as possible now that things are starting to return to normalcy.

Try to wake up and go to bed at the same time, eat healthy and exercise, to help find the routine that works best for you and your career. On days that you have free, use those buffer days to help further your healthy habits so that you can be productive and focused when it’s time to get back to work during the week.

Here are 3 tips that will help you get back into a functional routine to help return to a comfortable work environment.

  1. Pace Yourself – Everyone is going to be doing things differently as the people return to work. Make sure you follow all of your company’s guidelines regarding health safety for both you and your co-workers.
  2. Prepare – Make sure you have reliable transportation to eliminate as many stressors from your day as possible so you can focus on your job.
  3. Prioritize Your Skills – The business landscape has changed, be as flexible as possible to ensure you’re utilizing your skills!
